Campbell Scientific offers visibility sensors that use either infrared forward-scatter or lidar (light detection and ranging) technology. The infrared forward-scatter sensors report meteorological observable range (MOR) for fog and snow. The lidar sensors measure cloud height and vertical visibility. Visibility sensors are often used in road, marine, aviation, and wind-energy applications.
The CS120A uses tried-and-tested, infrared forward-scatter technology, and it uses the proven 42° scatter angle to report meteorological observable range (MOR) for fog and snow in the range of 5&n...read more
Not every sensor comes with a calibration sheet. If a calibration sheet is included, it is listed in the “Ships With” section of the sensor’s product web page or it is specified when ordered.
