can i connect rs485 sensor to cr1000x or cr6 datalogger?

I want to connect a cr1000x or cr6 datalogger to a SEBA DS22 level sensor, the sensor has modbus  rs485 communication, I want to know if it is possible to connect directly or I need to acquire a module like the MD485.

You can connect the sensor directly up to the CR6 and CR1000X dataloggers.

the sensor has modbus RTU over rs485, maybe can you help me with the code or something referent.
