Server PC-OPC

pchd_93 Jul 17, 2019 04:45 PM

Dear.

I am working with the PC-OPC software (first time) and it is installed in windows server 2008 R2, when executing it asks to enter the server path:

PLEASE LOGON

Server Name : localhost

User Name : Where do I find this point?

Password: Where do I find this point?

enter the user data of the PC where the PC-OPC is installed but it did not work. Install PC-OPC in windows 10 and it works correctly, but it has to work in windows server 2008 R2.

please I need a little help.

thank you

That is asking for the user credentials for Loggernet. If user accounts within Loggernet were not configured, username and password should be blank. Localhost means the local IP address of the computer the software is on. If PC-OPC is on the same computer that Loggernet is on, you would use localhost. Otherwise, you must put in the IP address of the computer that is running the Loggernet server.

Dear

I wanted to thank you for your help, as I mentioned I had not used this software before and the manual does not help much. Today I tried again and it worked without problems, thank you very much and greetings.
