The ALERT205X is an advanced ALERT2 transmitter designed for unmatched, long-term deployment reliability in new and existing critical flood monitoring systems. At its core, the AL200X ALERT and ALERT2 Modem and Sensor Interface operates in intelligent network device (IND) mode connected to the tried-and-true CR310 Measurement and Control Datalogger. The ALERT205X offers expanded analog inputs, integrated Wi-Fi or cellular communications options, advanced data logging, and an intuitive web-based user interface for system configuration.

The ALERT205X offers three form factors: canister, enclosure, and panel, ensuring compatibility with diverse installation requirements. In addition, as the heart of any ALERT2 or flood warning installation, the reliable ALERT205X can measure nearly any sensor on the market and provide you with accurate, defensible data necessary for making critical, time-sensitive decisions.

Detailed Description

The ALERT205X is a combination of an ALERT2 IND and an application protocol device (APD), which is typically referred to as an ALERT2 transmitter. The ALERT205X is built around a CR310 Measurement and Control Datalogger with optional integrated communications options, an AL200X ALERT and ALERT2 Modem and Sensor Interface, and the industry-standard Maxon VHF radio.

The ALERT205X is available in three different package options to meet your needs:

  • The canister option includes six standard, M12, eight-pin, circular connectors for sensor I/O, as well as coaxial connectors for GPS, VHF radio, and optional integrated communications (Wi-Fi and cellular).
  • The enclosure option is built around the same platform as the canister option, but it is housed in a fiberglass enclosure with cable glands and internal DIN rail terminals for connecting external sensors.
  • The panel option is designed for applications where an enclosure will be provided separately. It includes DIN rail terminals for easy sensor connections.

All three options are configured, deployed, and maintained via the same mobile-friendly user interface. You can view the interface using a PC or mobile device web browser, and you can access the interface via a Wi-Fi, cellular, or USB connection.

Note: The use of a cellular or Wi-Fi connection is not part of the standard offering, and these options incur an additional fee.
