Detailed Description

One end of the cable always has a 6-pin M16 connector that mates with the CPI/RS-485 port on the back of the CSAT3B block. The other end of the cable has the following three options:

  • The -PT option specifies the cable end to have pigtail wire leads for connecting to a PC (in the case of RS-485) or wiring hub.
  • The -MC option specifies the cable end to have an M16 connector, which can be used to connect to a 30294 CPI/RS-485 Splitter, in the case of a CPI or RS-485 network of CSAT3B anemometers daisy-chained in series.
  • The -RJ option specifies the cable end to have an RJ-45 connector, which can connect directly to the CPI port on a CPI-enabled data logger (such as the CR6) or to one of the ports on the HUB-CPI bus. The HUB-CPI bus is used for a CPI network of CSAT3B anemometers connected in parallel or in a star topology.
